Wastin' Away: A Poolside Tribute to Jimmy Buffett is an open-air concert experience performed at The Siren Poolside at Alexis Park Resort Hotel. Starring Las Vegas entertainer Jonny Bird, the show celebrates Jimmy Buffett’s music and easygoing island lifestyle through live renditions of favorites such as “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Fins,” “Come Monday,” “Volcano” and “A Pirate Looks at Forty.” The poolside setting creates a relaxed tropical-party atmosphere where audiences can sing along, dance and enjoy the music beneath the Las Vegas sunset. Rather than presenting a biographical story or theatrical recreation of Buffett’s career, Wastin' Away focuses on the songs, humor and carefree Parrothead spirit associated with his concerts. The approximately 80-minute production debuted in 2026 and offers a laid-back alternative to a conventional indoor Las Vegas tribute show.
